Since May 15 the photographer, Aaron Kaney, and other law students have been studying amidst the ancient places as part of Regent's Summer program in Israel.
Courses on Holy War and Just War in Islam and Israel and Issues of International Law and the State of Israel have been keeping the students busy between trips to places such as Bethlehem, a Palestinian refugee camp, the Sea of Galilee, and Golan Heights.
